Naïka’s hypnotic turn with Matador.

On the singles front, Naïka offers one of her most captivating songs to date with Matador, a French-language track that plays with the tension of desire and danger. Her crystal-clear vocals glide over minimalist production as she sings about the disarming power of a man’s gaze. Following BLOOM and BLESSINGS, this new single continues to show her command of both style and substance.

Meanwhile, London-based artist Demae unveils her sophomore album, a tender, melancholic body of work that feels like an open window into her inner world. Blending soul, jazz, and subtle electronic textures, the project radiates softness and reflection, proving once again that vulnerability can be its own strength.

BLK Odyssy drops brand new LP “Mood Control”.

This Friday, November 7th, BLK Odyssy unveiled his brand-new 10-track project, Mood Control, a bold evolution for the Houston-based artist who continues to blur the lines between R&B, funk, rock, and rap.

Originally from New Jersey, BLK Odyssy first emerged as a collective, before crystallizing around a singular artistic vision that has steadily grown in depth and ambition. Now signed to Empire, he’s become one of the most intriguing voices of the modern soul-rap movement, crafting immersive worlds that balance social commentary, personal narrative, and sonic experimentation.

Each BLK Odyssy project has marked a distinct phase of artistic exploration. His 2021 debut, BLK Vintage, introduced him as a storyteller rooted in rap and jazz influences, weaving conscious narratives around identity, trauma, and resilience. With Diamonds & Freaks (2023), he dove deeper into R&B, soul, and funk, fusing sensual grooves with cinematic arrangements.

Then came 1-800 Fantasy, a sonic trip through unrequited love, driven by distorted guitars and rock-inspired textures, pushing his artistry into even more unexpected directions. His 2024 COLORS performance of “Phase,” one of the project’s standout tracks, as well as his Tiny Desk performance in January of that same year, solidified his reputation as a live performer capable of channeling raw emotion through minimalist setups.

Following his international tour in 2024, with stops in Paris, London, and Barcelona, BLK Odyssy’s global presence has continued to expand. His performances blend vulnerability and power, transforming stages into intimate storytelling spaces, a testament to the universality of his message and sound.

With Mood Control, the Pleinfeld native embraces yet another transformation, one that feels both introspective and expansive. The project dives into themes of emotional balance, self-reflection, and desire, all carried by bold distorted production and intricate vocal layering. Aries teases new project “GLASS JAW”.

Former YouTube producer turned full-time artist, Aries has announced a brand new project, GLASS JAW, dropping friday, november 14th.

This new LP will mark the Wichita, Kansas native’s third studio project, after the releases of Welcome Home in 2019, and Believe in me, who believes in you in 2021, both claiming immediate success, leading Aries to become one of the most recognized voices in the independent rap scene. He now tallies over 800 000 monthly Spotify listeners, and more than 150 000 Instagram followers.

Ahead of the announcement of his new album, Aries dropped a few weeks ago a brand new single, “ANESTHESIA”, as well as another on september 26th, “WICHITA BLUES”, both melodic rock anthems, possibly giving a hint as to what the new project might sound like.

American-British duo Voilà inks deal with Believe.
