María Isabel is back with “Suiza”, signaling the future release of a new EP.

María Isabel has dropped Suiza, a sun-drenched Spanish-language single that brings a warm, danceable energy to the rollout of her upcoming EP. Blending Latin rhythms with her signature emotional sensitivity, the track captures the carefree feeling of summer while staying rooted in her introspective songwriting.

MARÍA ISABEL - Courtesy of Max Montgomery for FLAUNT

María Isabel continues to expand her musical universe with Suiza, a vibrant new single that serves as the second preview of her upcoming EP. The Dominican-American artist, originally from Queens, New York, has spent the past few years carving out a space between dreamy pop, alternative R&B and Latin-influenced songwriting. With this new release, she leans further into rhythm and warmth, delivering a track that feels tailor-made for long summer evenings.

Sung entirely in Spanish, Suiza marks an important step in María Isabel’s ongoing exploration of her cultural identity. While much of her earlier work blended English and Spanish within atmospheric pop arrangements, this song embraces Latin textures more openly. Built around bright percussion, fluid melodies and a laid-back groove, the track radiates a carefree energy that contrasts with the introspective tone of many of her earlier releases.

Yet beneath its breezy surface, Suiza still carries the emotional sensitivity that has defined María Isabel’s songwriting since the beginning of her career. Known for songs like Love Song and The 1, she has consistently explored themes of intimacy, longing and personal reflection. Here, those emotional threads are woven into a lighter, more playful setting, a reminder that vulnerability can coexist with joy and movement.

The release also signals a broader artistic shift. Over the past few years, María Isabel has gradually stepped away from purely alternative R&B aesthetics to embrace a wider sonic palette influenced by Latin pop, reggaeton-tinged rhythms and dance-oriented production. Suiza captures that evolution perfectly: it feels spontaneous and summery, but still grounded in the nuanced songwriting that has defined her work.

As the second single leading into her forthcoming EP (after the release in October of Bien Bien), the track offers a glimpse of a project that may be her most confident yet. If Suiza is any indication, María Isabel’s next chapter will be brighter, more rhythm-driven and deeply connected to the cultural roots that continue to shape her sound.

ELIZA releases 4th studio album under her new identity, “The Darkening Green”.

ELIZA returns with The Darkening Green, a deeply reflective album that continues her evolution as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices in alternative soul and R&B. Blending atmospheric production with introspective songwriting, the record explores themes of personal growth, nature and emotional renewal.

ELIZA - Courtesy of Ant Adams

ELIZA has returned with The Darkening Green, a deeply reflective new album that marks another important chapter in her artistic evolution. Released on March 4th, the nine-track record arrives four years after A Sky Without Stars and further solidifies ELIZA’s identity as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices in alternative R&B and neo-soul.

The album continues the path she began after leaving the major-label system and stepping away from her former pop persona, Eliza Doolittle. By going independent and embracing the mononym ELIZA, the London-born artist reshaped her sound around atmospheric R&B, soul and introspective songwriting. With The Darkening Green, that transformation reaches a new level of maturity, reflecting a period of personal change that includes motherhood and a renewed perspective on creativity and life.

Co-written and co-produced with collaborators Phairo and EMIL, the album expands ELIZA’s earthy sonic palette while exploring themes of modern exhaustion, human connection and our relationship with the natural world. The title itself suggests transformation: green symbolizes renewal, while the “darkening” hints at growth, maturity and deeper emotional awareness. Across the record, ELIZA reflects on how emotional lives mirror ecological cycles, capturing the tension between urban chaos and the desire for softness and balance.

Musically, The Darkening Green blends ELIZA’s signature soulful vocals with subtle experimentation. Songs like Pleasure Boy glide over shimmering disco-influenced grooves reminiscent of Prince or D’Angelo, while Anyone Else reveals one of her most tender love songs to date. Elsewhere, tracks such as Cheddar tackle exploitative working relationships, and Major unfolds in a meditative atmosphere enriched by bansuri flute from Hindustani musician Hasheel. The album’s nine tracks form a cohesive journey that moves between sensual warmth, introspection and social awareness.

What ultimately defines The Darkening Green is its emotional sincerity. Rather than chasing commercial formulas, ELIZA approaches songwriting as a process of reflection and honesty, allowing space for vulnerability, anger and hope to coexist. The album captures an artist who has grown comfortable with independence and who now writes from a place of experience rather than expectation.

femdot. links up with producer Gold Haze for short EP “Less Talk, More Haze”.

femdot. has just released Less Talk, More Haze, a focused four-track EP created alongside producer Gold Haze. The project leans into atmosphere and restraint, pairing hazy, textured production with femdot.’s sharp, reflective lyricism.

FEMDOT. - Courtesy of Michael Salisbury

Chicago-born rapper femdot., born Mueen Olufemi Adigun, has just released a new collaborative EP titled Less Talk, More Haze, a concise four-track project produced in partnership with Gold Haze. femdot. has been a consistent presence in hip-hop since the mid-2010s, gaining attention with projects like 94 Camry Music and Free Samples, Vol. 1, and building a reputation for sharp lyricism and thoughtful storytelling rooted in his Chicago upbringing.

Over his career, femdot. has blended influences from ’90s East Coast rap with modern sensibilities, crafting music that emphasizes wordplay, emotional honesty and a reflective perspective on life and identity. He grew up in Evanston and Chicago, started rapping at a young age and turned those early mixtapes into a steadily expanding catalogue, drawing from inspirations as diverse as Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest and Kendrick Lamar.

Less Talk, More Haze finds femdot. tightening his focus with producer Gold Haze, whose atmospheric, textured production complements the rapper’s confident flow and vivid storytelling. The four-track collaboration marks a deliberate move toward a sound that’s both introspective and hazy in mood, a tonal space that allows femdot.’s lyrics to land with clarity against Gold Haze’s rich instrumental backdrop.

Although femdot. has experimented with a variety of sounds across previous projects, this short EP feels particularly cohesive, with each track building toward a larger thematic arc about presence over noise, substance over hype. The title itself, Less Talk, More Haze, suggests a focus on vibe and introspection rather than overstatement, a fitting direction for an artist known for depth as much as skill.

SIPHO. releases soulful single “COLD WEATHER”.

SIPHO. returns with COLD WEATHER, a cinematic and emotionally charged single featuring Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil. Blending moody production with raw, conversational vocals, the track explores love when warmth fades and uncertainty sets in.

British singer-songwriter and producer SIPHO. returns with a cinematic new single titled COLD WEATHER, released on 23 February 2026. Hailing from Birmingham, SIPHO. has steadily carved out a reputation for music that blends soul, R&B, electronic and experimental textures with deeply honest songwriting, and COLD WEATHER sees him further stretching his creative palette while collaborating with two rising voices in the UK scene, Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil.

From its first moments, COLD WEATHER sets a mood that feels almost like a short film. Sleek, stormy production underpins the track, creating an atmospheric backdrop where emotion and tension collide. SIPHO.’s performance is commanding yet vulnerable, guiding listeners through a narrative about love tested by uncertainty, the moment when connection becomes complicated and messy, far from the idealised romance fans might expect. Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil’s vocals turn the song into a conversational duet, heightening that dramatic tension and giving the listener multiple perspectives on the emotional landscape at play.

Lyrically, COLD WEATHER explores love without illusions, a state where commitment is questioned, feelings are raw and the warmth of connection seems fragile against the “cold weather” of doubt and hesitation. SIPHO. has described the song as a sort of emotional check-in, a moment where the shine of romance fades and the reality of partnership comes into sharp focus. By placing vulnerability at the centre, the track moves beyond surface-level love songs and into something more introspective and human.

This release follows a distinguished trajectory for SIPHO., who first emerged in 2021 with his distinctive blend of styles on projects like AND GOD SAID… and his debut album PRAYERS & PARANOIA. Across those releases, he’s become known for confronting inner tension, faith and emotional contradiction with courage and nuance. COLD WEATHER continues that thematic thread, proving that he’s unafraid to sit with discomfort and explore the complexity beneath it.

Accompanying the single, an official video directed by Callum Barnes is slated for release on March 9, a visual complement that promises to expand the song’s cinematic feel. With COLD WEATHER, SIPHO. not only reinforces his reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling songwriters but also demonstrates growth in his collaborative instincts, inviting fellow artists like Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil into a space where voices and perspectives intertwine to powerful effect.
