femdot. links up with producer Gold Haze for short EP “Less Talk, More Haze”.
femdot. has just released Less Talk, More Haze, a focused four-track EP created alongside producer Gold Haze. The project leans into atmosphere and restraint, pairing hazy, textured production with femdot.’s sharp, reflective lyricism.

Chicago-born rapper femdot., born Mueen Olufemi Adigun, has just released a new collaborative EP titled Less Talk, More Haze, a concise four-track project produced in partnership with Gold Haze. femdot. has been a consistent presence in hip-hop since the mid-2010s, gaining attention with projects like 94 Camry Music and Free Samples, Vol. 1, and building a reputation for sharp lyricism and thoughtful storytelling rooted in his Chicago upbringing.
Over his career, femdot. has blended influences from ’90s East Coast rap with modern sensibilities, crafting music that emphasizes wordplay, emotional honesty and a reflective perspective on life and identity. He grew up in Evanston and Chicago, started rapping at a young age and turned those early mixtapes into a steadily expanding catalogue, drawing from inspirations as diverse as Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest and Kendrick Lamar.
Less Talk, More Haze finds femdot. tightening his focus with producer Gold Haze, whose atmospheric, textured production complements the rapper’s confident flow and vivid storytelling. The four-track collaboration marks a deliberate move toward a sound that’s both introspective and hazy in mood, a tonal space that allows femdot.’s lyrics to land with clarity against Gold Haze’s rich instrumental backdrop.
Although femdot. has experimented with a variety of sounds across previous projects, this short EP feels particularly cohesive, with each track building toward a larger thematic arc about presence over noise, substance over hype. The title itself, Less Talk, More Haze, suggests a focus on vibe and introspection rather than overstatement, a fitting direction for an artist known for depth as much as skill.

SIPHO. releases soulful single “COLD WEATHER”.
SIPHO. returns with COLD WEATHER, a cinematic and emotionally charged single featuring Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil. Blending moody production with raw, conversational vocals, the track explores love when warmth fades and uncertainty sets in.
SIPHO. - Courtesy of Benji Beecham
British singer-songwriter and producer SIPHO. returns with a cinematic new single titled COLD WEATHER, released on 23 February 2026. Hailing from Birmingham, SIPHO. has steadily carved out a reputation for music that blends soul, R&B, electronic and experimental textures with deeply honest songwriting, and COLD WEATHER sees him further stretching his creative palette while collaborating with two rising voices in the UK scene, Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil.
From its first moments, COLD WEATHER sets a mood that feels almost like a short film. Sleek, stormy production underpins the track, creating an atmospheric backdrop where emotion and tension collide. SIPHO.’s performance is commanding yet vulnerable, guiding listeners through a narrative about love tested by uncertainty, the moment when connection becomes complicated and messy, far from the idealised romance fans might expect. Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil’s vocals turn the song into a conversational duet, heightening that dramatic tension and giving the listener multiple perspectives on the emotional landscape at play.
Lyrically, COLD WEATHER explores love without illusions, a state where commitment is questioned, feelings are raw and the warmth of connection seems fragile against the “cold weather” of doubt and hesitation. SIPHO. has described the song as a sort of emotional check-in, a moment where the shine of romance fades and the reality of partnership comes into sharp focus. By placing vulnerability at the centre, the track moves beyond surface-level love songs and into something more introspective and human.
This release follows a distinguished trajectory for SIPHO., who first emerged in 2021 with his distinctive blend of styles on projects like AND GOD SAID… and his debut album PRAYERS & PARANOIA. Across those releases, he’s become known for confronting inner tension, faith and emotional contradiction with courage and nuance. COLD WEATHER continues that thematic thread, proving that he’s unafraid to sit with discomfort and explore the complexity beneath it.
Accompanying the single, an official video directed by Callum Barnes is slated for release on March 9, a visual complement that promises to expand the song’s cinematic feel. With COLD WEATHER, SIPHO. not only reinforces his reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling songwriters but also demonstrates growth in his collaborative instincts, inviting fellow artists like Ayeisha Raquel and nikhil into a space where voices and perspectives intertwine to powerful effect.

Just a couple of weeks after the release of Personne ne te regarde (one of our favorite tracks from January), French singer-songwriter Othélie has teased her new EP MYTHE, dropping in February.
An 8 track project, which, given the trailer shared on her social media, will continue to focus on this brand new mystical and aerial sound, carried by heavy synths, marking a new beginning for the Cergy-native. ANAÏS CARDOT
Anaïs Cardot, the French-Gabonese singer-songwriter whose music blends soul, R&B and indie sensibilities, has teased a brand-new track on her social media ahead of its release. The artist, who has built a loyal following with her emotionally rich songwriting and intimate vocal style, shared a snippet of the unreleased song, signaling a new chapter in her creative output.
Originally based in Paris and now active on the broader global scene, Anaïs Cardot first drew attention with her debut EP Pink Magnolia in 2023, a project praised for its lush production and heartfelt performances. She’s also gained international exposure through vocal features, including on Wizkid’s Morayo album, and collaborations that expanded her presence beyond French borders. Her music frequently blends jazz, R&B and soul influences, allowing her to navigate both introspective ballads and more groove-oriented pieces across her catalogue.
This teaser is a bare vocal delivery, subtle instrumentation and a sense of closeness that pulls the listener into her inner world. There’s a fragility in the way the song unfolds, suggesting themes of vulnerability, introspection and emotional honesty rather than grand narrative statements.
What stands out is the deliberate pacing. Nothing feels rushed, as usual with the singer. This approach reinforces Anaïs Cardot’s strength as a storyteller who values nuance and silence as much as melody, allowing space for interpretation and personal connection.
Though specific release details remain under wraps, the way Cardot has chosen to present the song, sparse visuals and a focus on the music itself aligns with her career trajectory so far: an artist who lets her voice and feelings lead the narrative rather than large promotional gestures.

THE CHEAKS
The Cheaks are back with Situation Lost Control, a sharp and restless new single that marks their first release since August and their last EP Signals.
Hailing from Newcastle, the indie rock outfit returns with a renewed sense of urgency, picking up right where they left off while pushing their sound into darker, more chaotic territory.
The track brings back the band’s urgent, guitar-charged energy and marks a fresh chapter in their sound as they push forward with music designed to be both visceral and immediate. Its release has also been tied to an upcoming touring cycle, with the band planning to take the new song on the road in early 2026, hitting cities up and down the east coast of Australia and even reaching Brisbane for one of their first shows in that city, a sign that the band’s live momentum continues to grow.
In their relatively short career, The Cheaks have carved out a reputation for high-octane performances and rock anthems that manage to stay melodic and memorable. The new single builds on that identity, giving fans both familiarity and renewed energy as they head into a new touring chapter.
With Situation Lost Control, The Cheaks re-assert their place in contemporary indie rock, a band that thrives on raw intensity, live energy and the kind of songs that work just as well on stage as they do on record.

LYKUIN - Courtesy of Diane K
Lykuin is preparing to unveil another important moment in her artistic journey with the announcement of her new single En corps, set to be released this Thursday, February 5. Arriving just a few months after her latest single Dans tes yeux, this new single feels like it will be a natural continuation, and expansion, of the emotional territory she’s been carefully shaping over recent releases.
With Dans tes yeux, Lykuin explored intimacy through restraint, letting emotion surface in glances, silences and subtle melodic shifts on a smooth R&B beat. That sensitivity appears to be at the core of this new single, a track whose title alone suggests a deep connection between feeling, presence and physicality. Rather than separating mind and body, Lykuin seems intent on bringing them together, treating emotion as something lived and felt as much as it is spoken.
Lykuin’s songwriting has always favored honesty over excess, and this upcoming song promises to double down on that approach. Her music moves in quiet currents, warm, introspective, often vulnerable, allowing listeners space to project their own experiences. There’s a sense that En corps promisses to be less about performance and more about embodiment: inhabiting emotions fully, without armor.

Lines like “Slow down the pace / Not in a race / Soaking the details tiptoeing” immediately set the tone: this is a song about patience, presence and relearning how to feel without rushing. The writing leans into restraint and sensual subtlety, favoring touch, silence and nuance over grand declarations.
The chorus, “Moments of truth are on the sidelines but I find them with you / Guess I could fall in love in June,” captures the emotional core of the track. It suggests a quiet awakening, love not as a sudden spark, but as something that arrives when defenses soften. The lyrics hint at vulnerability rediscovered after emotional distance, aligning with Roxane’s ability to translate inner shifts into delicate, lived-in songwriting.
Musically, the short teaser points toward a warm, intimate soundscape, likely rooted in soul-inflected pop and understated R&B textures, a lane Roxane has been steadily refining. Rather than chasing immediacy, Fall in Love in June feels designed to linger, inviting listeners into a slow-burning emotional space that mirrors the themes of the song itself.
As part of a broader album rollout, this single feels less like a standalone moment and more like an entry point into a larger narrative. With Fall in Love in June, Roxane sets the tone for what’s to come: a project driven by emotional honesty, sensual detail and a renewed openness to connection.
The countdown is on!

UK’s latest phenom Heidi Curtis extends licence stint with AWAL.
British singer-songwriter Heidi Curtis continues her rapid rise by extending her partnership with AWAL, confirming her status as one of the UK’s most promising new artists.
HEIDI CURTIS
Heidi Curtis is one of the most exciting emerging voices to come out of the North East UK music scene, and 2026 is shaping up to be a breakthrough year for the Newcastle-born singer-songwriter. At just 24 years old, Curtis has already built significant momentum through relentless live performances, high-profile support slots and a growing catalogue that blends rock, indie, folk and soul-leaning pop. Over the past few years she’s opened for major artists including Sam Fender, Paul Weller, Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini, Inhaler and The Snuts, showcasing her dynamic stage presence across the UK and Europe.
Her musical journey began long before she hit national attention: Curtis has been writing and performing since her teens, developing her craft on open mic nights and in grassroots venues throughout the North East. Her sound, characterized by powerful vocals, compelling lyricism and a blend of vintage and contemporary influences like Fleetwood Mac, Kate Bush, Jeff Buckley and Florence + The Machine, has always leaned toward emotional depth and timeless songwriting.
In November 2025, Heidi took a major step into a wider musical chapter by signing with AWAL Recordings, a global artist services label known for supporting independent musicians with global reach. Her debut single Undone marked her first official release under the partnership, immediately aligning her with a team capable of elevating her reach beyond the local scene.
Building on that momentum, she extended her creative output with her latest single Siren, released last week via AWAL and showcasing both her vocal confidence and lyrical maturity. Drawing on metaphor and myth, Siren blends storytelling with haunting melodies and a distinct sensory tone, signaling a deeper artistic voice coming into focus.
Curtis’s success on the live front has complemented her recording work. Sold-out shows such as her headline performance at The Cluny in Newcastle underline her growing fanbase and live prowess, suggesting that her recorded output is merely one part of a larger artistic impact.

Rising star Ezek releases debut LP “EZEK’s PARTY”.
Rising star Ezek has officially entered a new phase of her career with the release of her first album, EZEK’s PARTY, a bold, high-energy project that positions her as one of the most striking new voices in contemporary French rap.
EZEK
Rising star Ezek has officially entered a new phase of her career with the release of her first album, EZEK’s PARTY, a bold, high-energy project that positions her as one of the most striking new voices in contemporary French rap. Already known for her sharp rhythmic instincts and commanding presence, Ezek uses this debut album as a statement of intent: unapologetic, expressive and deeply rooted in movement, confidence and cultural identity.
Built like a celebration rather than a traditional rap album, EZEK’s PARTY thrives on momentum. The project leans into club energy, bass-heavy production and playful bravado, while allowing Ezek’s flow to constantly shift and surprise. Tracks like AFRIKAN BADDEST BITCH, BADDIES and PÉTAGES highlight her ability to ride aggressive beats with ease, mixing attitude, humor and self-assertion without ever losing control. Her delivery feels instinctive and physical, rap designed to be felt as much as heard.
What makes EZEK’s PARTY stand out is its sense of freedom. Ezek doesn’t box herself into a single aesthetic or narrative; instead, she embraces excess, chaos and celebration as creative tools. The album reflects a generation of artists who treat music as a space for release and identity rather than strict storytelling. Beneath the party-driven surface, her Congolese roots and diasporic perspective subtly inform the project’s energy, grounding it in something personal and lived-in rather than purely performative.
Visually and sonically, the album aligns with Ezek’s growing reputation as a performer. Having already drawn attention through live sessions and stage appearances, she brings that same raw intensity into the studio. EZEK’s PARTY feels built for performance, tracks that thrive in crowds, speakers turned up, bodies moving. It’s an album that understands its environment and fully commits to it.
As a debut, EZEK’s PARTY doesn’t aim for restraint or polish, it aims for impact. Ezek presents herself fully formed, confident in her voice and unafraid of taking space in a scene still opening up to new female energies. With this first album, she doesn’t just introduce herself, she sets the tone for things to come.
