Based in Brussels, rapper and songwriter CRC has been building a unique universe where hip-hop meets French chanson, R&B and Afro influences, creating a sound that feels both intimate and genre-fluid.
From the beginning, CRC has set himself apart through his relationship with words. Often described as a poetic rapper, his music is rooted in honest, introspective storytelling, drawing directly from personal experiences and his urban environment. This emphasis on emotion and narrative gives his work a depth that goes beyond traditional rap frameworks.
Before establishing himself as a solo artist, CRC was part of groups and collectives such as NUPS3E and J&A., where he developed his artistic identity and gained valuable stage experience. Performing at venues and festivals like Ancienne Belgique, Les Ardentes and La Cigale in Paris helped him refine his live presence and connect with a growing audience.
His solo career took a major step forward with the release of La pluie : Act I in 2023, a project that introduced his multi-layered approach to music. Rather than delivering a simple rap project, CRC presented a narrative-driven body of work, blending emotion, storytelling and diverse sonic textures. He quickly followed with Pleurez! (Act II), reinforcing his ambition to build a cohesive, evolving artistic journey across releases.
Today, CRC stands out as a rising figure in the Belgian scene, recognized for his ability to merge genres while maintaining a strong emotional core. His work reflects a generation of artists who prioritize authenticity, storytelling and long-form vision over trends.
