NXT UP: Dina Ayada

DINA AYADA

Just a month after the release of sophomore album IDENTITY, it’s only right we put the spotlight on one of Europe’s most exciting new rap talent.

Dina Ayada is a fast-rising Belgian singer, rapper and songwriter whose multicultural background and genre-blending sound are helping her emerge as one of the most exciting voices of her generation. Born in Morocco and raised in Belgium, Dina grew up immersed in a vibrant mix of cultures, absorbing Arabic musical traditions from her family and the global influence of American hip-hop and R&B. She speaks multiple languages and began creating music at a young age, laying the foundation for a career marked by versatility and boundary-crossing influences.

Her journey into music was far from conventional. Dina recorded her first song with her brother at age 16, a spontaneous effort made “just for fun” that unexpectedly gained traction on Belgian radio. This early experiment ignited her passion for music and led her to hone her craft more seriously, eventually catching the attention of producers and collaborators who helped shape her evolving sound.

Dina’s breakout moment came with the release of her debut EP SUPERSTAR! in 2023, a project that introduced listeners to her eclectic style a fusion of R&B, hip-hop and pop with textured production and confident lyricism. The EP served as a vivid showcase of her artistic identity: fearless, expressive and rooted in both personal experience and global influences. In 2024 she followed up with another project, The Script, further developing her sound and narrative voice while expanding her audience.

Dina’s multicultural perspective has been a defining strength of her music. Growing up in Belgium with Moroccan roots and now based in Los Angeles, she channels her experiences across continents into a sound that feels both contemporary and globally relevant. This blend has helped her attract co-signs from high-profile figures in music, including Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla $ign, Swae Lee, French Montana, Saweetie, and others: a rare level of backing for an emerging artist.

Her public profile has continued to grow rapidly. In 2025, Dina Ayada graced the cover of L’OFFICIEL Belgique, spotlighting her as a “phenomenon” poised for wider success and reaffirming her rising stature in the industry. Around the same time, she began teasing new music leading up to her upcoming debut album IDENTITY, with tracks like problems gaining traction online and generating anticipation ahead of its release. This latest project dropped in January continues to build the path Dina seems destined to. The presence of mainstream rap superstar Gunna on the track no rush is yet again another step in the right direction for her.

Dina Ayada’s trajectory reflects a new wave of globally conscious, genre-fluid artists who bridge cultural influences and musical traditions. With a foundation rooted in everyday creativity, from freestyles with her brother to radio play and international buzz, she is rapidly transforming from a promising young talent into a compelling artistic force commanding attention on both sides of the Atlantic.
