AYLØ (born Elomaina Mafeni in 1994 in Benin City, Nigeria) is a singer-songwriter and producer whose genre-blending sound sits at the crossroads of neo-soul, alternative R&B and hip-hop. He first gained attention with his acclaimed mixtape Insert Project Name and singles like wys? featuring Cruel Santino, helping define his unique sonic identity within Nigeria’s alté movement. His debut album For Good Reasons (2022) and later tracks such as Pray for the Kids show his growth as an emotional storyteller and producer. Rooted in gospel, jazz and contemporary influences, AYLØ’s music bridges introspective lyricism with rich, soulful production.
