Crystal Murray

Crystal Murray is a French-American singer-songwriter from Paris whose genre-defying music blends R&B, soul, jazz, electronic and pop influences into a richly textured, modern sound. Raised in a musical family, her father is American jazz saxophonist David Murray and her mother a producer, she grew up immersed in jazz clubs and diverse musical worlds. She first emerged with her 2019 single After Ten and gained attention with early EPs like I Was Wrong and Twisted Bases, showcasing her versatility and fearless artistic curiosity. In 2024 she released her debut album Sad Lovers and Giants, exploring emotional complexity through hybrid sonics ranging from drum’n’bass to shoegaze-tinged pop. Known for powerful performances at festivals like Rock En Seine and Sonar, she continues to push sonic boundaries.
