Marianne Perrudin
Marianne Perrudin is a French singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and author whose ethereal voice and skillful guitar work span chanson, folk, and jazz. Her lyrics reflect a deep connection to nature and a desire to share its beauty through music. Trained in classical violin for nearly a decade, she also taught herself piano, guitar, and singing before expanding her skills at Paris’ CIM jazz school, where she met Thomas Artaud and released their collaborative EP Unisson in 2023. One of her standout tracks, L’Oiseau (The Bird), was inspired by Brazilian bossa nova and a childhood relaxation technique imagining a bird taking away worries. The song blends saxophone with inventive sounds from a djembe, hairbrush, and spoons, creating a whimsical, immersive experience that captures Perrudin’s signature blend of creativity and introspection.
