Lexa Gates drops long awaited LP I Am.
Queen’s native Lexa Gates, is back with a new LP, I Am, a project that aims to put the listener in her own mind, a mind eaten by lies and contradictions. Throughout no less than 18 track, Lexa seems very confident and sure of her qualities. Yet, it is very clear that she keeps continuously lying to herself (and to us) about her status. An agressive delivery giving a sense of uncertainty, and lyrics that keep pushing a conflicting story ; “Life’s good, I don’t feel right” (on the track Form). A strong stance that reaches what seems to be an honest yet brutal reflection on whats going through her mind.
Dina Ayada releases sophomore album IDENTITY.
Coming of a strong 2025 in the wake of the release of her first project, Belgian rapper Dina Ayada is back with her sophomore LP named IDENTITY. Dina has been building hype around this release, especially last week, where she dropped her single no rush, a track featuring Atlanta’s superstar Gunna. A mainstream presence bringing the Belgian native to the big stage. This album is a testament to the sound and artistic direction Dina has made her own over the past couple of years. Rythmic trap beats and strong delivery, Ayada makes a statement, one that could bring her closer to international recognition.
