Boy Soda (born Brae Luafalealo) is a rising Australian singer‑songwriter blending soul, R&B and live instrumentation from his base in Sydney’s Central Coast. Raised in Terrigal, NSW, he studied music and sound design at the University of Technology Sydney before gaining attention through singles like Welcome to the Glow Up. In 2025 he announced his debut studio album, Soulstar, set for release on October 3 via Warner Music Australia. Recorded in the Blue Mountains with a full horn section, string quartet and live band, the project marks a bold statement of his evolving artistry. With his blend of vintage soul sensibilities, modern production and deeply personal lyricism, Boy Soda is fast becoming one of Australia’s most intriguing new voices in R&B and soul.
