Thelonious
Thelonious is a Toronto‑based rapper and songwriter known for his introspective lyricism, jazzy production influences, and commitment to storytelling from the heart. Hailing from the Northwest Rexdale community, he grew up immersed in jazz, gospel, and soul through his parents’ musical backgrounds, elements which now inform his sound deeply. Since beginning his career around 2019, Thelonious has steadily built a catalog of independent releases, including the acclaimed project Albion Road Demos, which was featured on Complex Canada’s Best Canadian Albums of 2022 list. In 2025, he released his EP FromTheMud, led by the single Sunshine, and prepared for a North American tour with the collective 4DaTribe.
